Dungeon Lootr Beginner Guide: First Hour to First Extract
The loop in one paragraph
Dungeon Lootr is a hack-and-slash extraction ARPG: you pick a class in the lobby, enter a randomly generated dungeon, clear every zone, follow the glowing beam to each loot chest, kill the boss, pick reward chests and extract. If you die inside, everything you picked up on that run is gone. Only extracted loot reaches your permanent inventory, and the Forge and class unlocks all run on that inventory. Player level caps at 100; each class levels separately.
Step 1: the tutorial and Starter Compensation
The tutorial hands you Ronin (Rare, tutorial class) and walks Bandit’s Den with you: zone clears, the beam to the chest, cauldrons that refill part of your potion stock, and a boss fight against the Bandit Chief (about 2.2K HP; some in-game text calls him the Forest Warden). Beating him lets you pick two reward chests — a Wolf Ring or Copper Ring is a normal first drop.
Back in the lobby, open Inventory → All and claim the Starter Compensation bundle. It includes spins and the Tidemaker Katana, which is a legitimate first Forge target and the item tied to the Streamline kit.
Step 2: redeem codes before you spin
Nine codes were working on Sep 2, 2026, including FULLRELEASE (25,000 Coins + 3 Luck Potions III), JACKPOT (5 Luck Potions III) and GIVEMEGEMSPLEASE (3 Aspect Gems). Redeem them from Menu → More → Codes after joining the ClickBytes group — the full list and the redeem path are on the codes page. Luck Potions are for the Classes hall, not for dungeons.
Step 3: spin until you hold a real class
Ronin, Bowman, Greatsword, Assassin and Flame Bastion are the D-tier trap: they finish Bandit’s Den and nothing after it. On the release spin table Rare is 50%, Epic 20%, Legendary 3%, Mythic 2%, Celestial 0.5% and Exotic 0.05%; a Luck Potion III turns the Celestial line into 3%.
Stop spinning the moment you land any of these:
- Boxer (Epic) — fast M1s that stay viable into late game.
- Witch Gunner (Legendary) — ranged damage that makes hard floors safe.
- Any Celestial, especially Azure Devil, because it evolves into Awakened Devil EX.
Class levels are saved when you switch, so spinning never loses progress. Full odds and every kit are on the classes page; rankings are on the tier list.
Step 4: put your stat points in one column
Open Inventory → Class Info and read the Archetype field. Physical kits dump into Strength, ranged into Dexterity (which also raises crit rate, attack speed and dodge), magic into Intelligence (which also gives cooldown reduction). Vitality only adds HP; the auto button spends points on it, which is why most guides tell you to allocate by hand. Details and the title stats are in stats and builds.
Step 5: farm the dungeon you can extract from
The map order is Bandit’s Den → Goblin’s Stronghold → Forgotten Ruins → The Catacombs → Frostspire Bastion → Underworld Gate, each with Normal, Hard and Nightmare. Deeper zones and harder difficulties raise loot quality, and a faster clear raises rewards too, so run with higher-level players when you can. Endless mode is the fastest EXP source early: one creator hit level 25 in about two hours running it.
Between runs, sell junk at the Sell Shop, keep Infernal Ore, and upgrade the piece you will still wear next week at the Forge. Daily quests (they refresh on a timer) pay Stars and stones; Stars buy cosmetics and the higher-priced shop items — the cheap coin bundles are not worth it.
What to aim for after the first hour
- Level 55-ish: Challenge Dungeon unlocks — Aspect Gems, Boss Rush tickets and Heavenly Fragments live here.
- Level 60-67: Boss Rush opens; Floor 40+ is where class items drop. See Boss Rush.
- Level 75: the Unrestricted checklist becomes possible. See class unlocks.
